Volunteer
Centre Merton is the key provider of support in relation to the
recruitment, management and support of volunteers in Merton. VCM works
with a wide range of organisations in the public, voluntary and
community sectors to develop and match the skills and interests of new
volunteers to volunteering opportunities. Everyone can volunteer from
all cultures, backgrounds, abilities and age groups. We deliver good
practice support to organisations involving volunteers in their work,
and provide information, advice and training about volunteering.
Working closely with voluntary and community organisations and our
Compact partners in Merton, VCM leads on campaigns to raise awareness
of volunteering, to gain recognition for the contribution of
volunteers and to highlight issues that affect volunteers. VCM aims to
make volunteering accessible to everyone.
