Centre Court Nominates VCM as their Chosen Charity

We're delighted to announce that Centre Court Shopping Centre, in the heart of Wimbledon's town centre, has nominated us as their chosen charity for 2011-12.  

We shall be working with them on a programme of exciting projects over the year, starting September.   This kicks off with our fabulous photo comepetition 'Merton Volunteers in Action' with an outstanding line up of prizes sponsored by Centre Court and Sony Centre, Wimbledon.

VCM will have a presence in Centre Court on the last Saturday of every month, with a series of recruitment and fundraising events. On Saturday 8th October, VCM will be announced as Centre Court’s Chosen Charity for 2011/12 at its high-profile Fashion Show.

Other exciting Centre Court events in which VCM will be participating up to Christmas include Make a Difference Day on Saturday 29th October, Winter Wonderland on Thursday 24th November and the opening of Santa’s Grotto on Saturday 26th November.

Centre Court's support for local charities is well known and the commitment they are making to support us over the year ahead is deeply appreciated.
