Befriending
We will accompany you on your first visit and introduce you to the
person you will be befriending.
Volunteers usually make arrangements to visit once a week and
spend about an hour or two with the person they visit.
Training Sessions
All Help Service Volunteers are required, as part of their
commitment, to attend an Initial Training Session.
Individual Support and Support Group Meetings
The Help Service Co-ordinator is available for individual support
for Help Service volunteers. Support Group meetings take place
quarterly, and are run both in the morning and the evening to be
accessible to all volunteers.
