We currently have more than 200 organisations registered on our database and we are always looking for organisations and charities to register with us. We regularly upload details of volunteering to the National Volunteering Database, which are then available to the public from the do-it website where people are able to search the database to find opportunities that match their interests. As well as the do-it website, we attend community events, schools, colleges use our quarterly newsletter, advertise positions in our centre, libraries and community centres as well as working with local practitioners and organisations to inform people about voluntary opportunities in Merton. We can register your vacancies as long as you have registered your organisation with us first. To register your organisation you can download a organisation registration form an opportunity registration form and the guidance notes. Also available to download is a VCM membership form. When registering a vacancy it is important that the information you provide is as accurate as possible, you should try to make the vacancy sound as interesting as possible, appealing and worthwhile since this will help us a great deal in attracting volunteers.
