VCM runs the VCM/Merton Mind Project which offers support to people who have experienced mental health problems, to volunteer in a wide variety of ways across the Borough of Merton. VCM need more organisations who are willing to work with volunteers with learning disabilities and mental health problems. The Merton Mind project has dedicated Recruitment/Placement Officers who are committed to supporting volunteer co-ordinators in achieving a balance between the needs of the organisation and the volunteer. Sue Batley (MIND ) will be pleased to discuss the volunteering roles you may have identified within your organisation, to introduce a volunteer and to offer long-term support.
