Services for Older People

Many people living in our community are lonely and isolated, whether through age, infirmity or disability. Some of the problems faced are a lack of help, companionship and support.

We recruit and provide volunteers for two programmes to help older people.

Our Help Service is tailored to the needs of vulnerable older people. And our Home Visits Library Service arranges for books and audio tapes to be delivered to people’s homes.
